Frontal clash kills four in Zavala district

A violent car accident in the early hours of Saturday killed four people in Zavala district, Inhambane province.
The accident, according to witnesses involved a light vehicle, belonging to the Zavala District Administration, and a heavy merchandise lorry, which was parked on the side of National Road 1.
Speeding and irregular stopping of the lorry are referred to as the origins of the frontal collision.
Dozens of road accidents are reported daily on this highway, and local authorities have appealed for more road humps to be placed.
