Mozambique: Sweden donates $11 million for children, youths in Palma

Father Jose Maria, one of the founders of the Casa do Gaiato in Mozambique, a charity for street children, died yesterday afternoon in Maputo (September 30).
Father José Maria was 83 years old and he was hospitalised in Instituto do Coração.
Until his death and for 25 years, Padre Zé Maria was at the head of Casa do Gaiato in Mozambique, a catholic institution located in Massaca, Boane district, that gives shelter, care and education to street children for 25 years.
Thanks to his work more than 1,500 children were educated and professionally trained.
