The National Institute of Disaster Management (INGC) in Cabo Delgado has promised that stocks of food for the victims of Cyclone Kenneth will be restored by today, Tuesday.
The guarantee was given by INGC representative Rocha Nuvunga at the meeting of the Operative Committee of Provincial Emergency in the city of Pemba.
“We have had a problem with food stocks for two days. It is a situation that will continue for another two days. But I believe that, by Monday or Tuesday, we will have restored stock levels enough to resume food assistance,” INGC representative Rocha Nuvunga said.
