FNB has inaugurated new facilities in Tete city, capital of the province of the same name. The new infrastructure reinforces the bank’s commitment to providing a superior banking experience to its customers in Tete.
This counter incorporates a more modern design and is located in the city centre on Avenida Eduardo Mondlane, in a large space designed to provide a faster, more personalised service experience, meeting accessibility requirements.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of FNB Sérgio Chitará, accompanied by the city’s Finance Councillor, Arnaldo Morais, representing the Municipality of Tete, representatives of the Bank of Mozambique, the Governor of the City of Tete, the Provincial Secretary of State, clients, partners and collaborators of FNB.
“It is with immense pride that we today witness the official inauguration of this FNB Branch, in the city of Tete,” said FNB Mozambique chairman Sérgio Chitará. “This infrastructure represents a significant milestone in our journey to offer better conditions and excellent service to our customers. More than a place to carry out banking transactions, this space is a reflection of our commitment to remaining close to our customers.”
In turn, Finance Councillor Arnaldo Morais, representing the Mayor of Tete, thanked the Bank for the invitation to witness the event.
“We want to congratulate FNB for the effort undertaken, today translated into these beautiful and comfortable facilities, located on the main artery of our city, the famous Avenida Eduardo Mondlane,” Councillor Morais said. “I would like to salute your institution for the important services provided to the residents of this city, as they contribute greatly to the safekeeping of their savings and this time to their economic and social development, as well as to the municipality itself. FNB’s commitment represents a huge contribution to boosting the increasingly accelerated development of this part of the country, characterised by the intense activities of small, medium and large companies.”
Sérgio Chitará also emphasised that, “the role of a bank is to facilitate the efficient allocation of its financial resources, implementing mechanisms that allow investing and allocating them to generate an increase in production, generating employment and a stronger economy”.
“Our role is, therefore, one of support for the local and national economy, a development that ultimately benefits us all,” Chitará concluded.
The new FNB Mozambique branch is located in the Francisco Manyanga neighbourhood in the city of Tete, and has a total area of 616 m2, of which 256 m2 are reserved for personalised service.
