FNB Mozambique launched, on 28 November 2022, applications for its Graduate Program, with the aim of recruiting young Mozambican graduates for its internal staff.
According to the Head of Human Capital at FNB Mozambique, Melba Jorge Nhamithambo, “we are looking to recruit young Mozambican graduates and enable them with specific skills and expertise for the banking sector in Mozambique. In this program, all recruited graduates will have the opportunity to obtain unique knowledge and experiences for their career development.”
With the campaign theme “A promising career awaits you”, FNB will provide selected candidates, the tools for a path towards a successful career, with all the opportunities that exist within the South African FirstRand group, Africa’s largest financial institution by market capitalization.
“The skills we value at FNB Mozambique are: resilience, passion, innovation and ownership. We believe that the career management accountability is individual, we ensure the necessary tools for our Employees to develop their dream career,” continues Melba.
The application process for the graduate program ran for around 8 days, in which we received close to 1500 applications through the emprego.co.mz website, with the majority of candidates aged between 25 and 34 years, 662 of which female. The featured requirements were: maximum 28 years of age and a degree in: Information Technology, Management, Finance, Accounting or Auditing.
With this, FNB takes another step towards becoming an employer of choice in the Mozambican market, striving to attract, develop and retain the immense potential of talent in Mozambique, which is just waiting for an opportunity to unfold.
