Five Mozambican judokas on their way to Baku World Championships

Five judokas will be representing Mozambique at the World Junior Judo Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, from the 20th to the 27th of this month.
Our athletes are Mauro Nassone (-60 kg), Kevin Loforte (-66 kg), Artur Junior (-66 kg), Ayton Siquir (-73 kg) and Jacira Ferreira (-52 kg).
The Mozambican quintet’s main objective is to garner enough points to secure a presence in the Olympic Games of Tokyo in 2020.
The team is led by former judoka Neuso Sigaúque, who will also act as the head of delegation.
