Repair works of the mains pipes carrying water from the Umbeluzi treatment plant to the Greater Maputo region are underway.
The Director General of FIPAG, Victor Tauacale, has announced that a water distribution regime had been established. It follows a pre-defined timetable while the pipeline replacement works are underway.
Please see below the schedule released yesterday by Maputo Regional Water Company (AdeM). It sets the days and the time of water distribution to the different neighbourhoods in the Greater Maputo Metropolitan Area ( Maputo, Matola and Boane) from 10 to 19 February:
