Mozambique power utility EDM has announced power cuts for maintenance works next Sunday, as per the places and schedules listed below.
“There will be interruption in the electric power supply, next May 19 (Sunday) of the current year, in the following ways:
Sunday, 05/19/2019, in the Province of Nampula, from 05:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., affecting the city of Nampula, the villages of Namitile and Ilha de Moçambique, the districts of Murrupula, Monapo, Angochee Lalaua;
Tete, Tsangano and Zumbo, from 05:00 am to 04:00 p.m., affecting the districts of Angónia, Changara, Chifunde, Chiúta, Doa, Macanga, Marávia, Moatize, Mutarara, Tete, Tsangano and Zumbo;
From 05:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., affecting all the provinces of Cabo Delgado, Niassa, Zambézia, Manica and Sofala;
Maputo City, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., due to affect Baixa and the Bairro Central neighbourhoods ; and,
From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., affecting the Maputo neighbourhoods of Malhangalene and Polana Cimento .”
