Fifty Sofala delegates presented at Sixth Renamo Congress

Eight months after the death of Afonso Dhlakama, members of Renamo will from Tuesday be meeting in Gorongosa in a party congress charged, among other matters, with electing a new president of the party.
On Saturday, the 50 Sofala delegates were presented to the congress, and proposals governing candidacy for the Renamo presidency were discussed.
At Saturday’s meeting, delegates to the congress and other Sofala Renamo members also discussed the party’s constitution.
