Mozambique skipper Dominguez in hot water with coach
National coach Chiquinho Conde blamed the absence of captain Dominguez (Elias Pelembe) on bureaucratic issues, and of Mexer Sitóe on injury. To fill the gap, the coach called on Melque Alexandre to reinforce the team.
Gabonese Pierre Ghislain Atcho is the main referee appointed by CAF to officiate the match between Mozambique and Uganda and will have his compatriot Boris Marlaise Ditsoga and Cameroonian Carine Atezambong Fomo as assistants. Fleury Moukagni is the fourth referee.
Here’s the Mozambique 🇲🇿 squad for #WCQ this month!
No new faces. We were curious to see if Bruno Wilson (San Jose 🇺🇸) would make it but no. Second time that’s happened.
Kélvio Neves could debut.
41-year old Elias Pelembe still around.
