Mozambique: Flag carrier LAM launches tender to contract Embraer ERJ190, Boeing 737-700 aircraft

Speaking on behalf of the Mozambican government at the 52nd edition of the Maputo International Fair (FACIM 2016), Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Centre (CPI) Godinho Alves has invited foreign investors to explore business opportunities in the north of the country.
Godinho Alves highlighted the Nacala airport citadel and tourist projects at Crusse and Jamali islands as attractive potential investments in the north of the country.
FACIM, which runs until September 4 in Marracuene, Maputo province, sees 33 countries participating this year, Ireland and Belarus for the first time.
The expo’s twelve pavilions are divided into nine square meter stands. All the Mozambican provinces are represented, and in all 2,350 domestic companies and 630 foreign. Last year, FACIM saw 2,250 companies exhibiting.
Crusse and Jamali islands, which are part of the zones of Tourist Interest (ZIT) are located in Matibane, in the Mossuril district of Nampula.
