The European Union will support Mozambique’s general elections this year to the tune of 8.8 million Euros, Rádio Moçambique reports.
The information was shared in Maputo this Thursday by the Director General for International Cooperation and Development of the European Commission, Stefano Manservisi, after a meeting with President Filipe Nyusi, adds the same source.
Manservisi writes in his Twitter page that the President and he held a “frank and interesting discussion” about the “peace process in the country, security in Cabo Delgado, debt, upcoming elections and of course our rich cooperation for economic development esp. in rural areas.”
