The Association of European Businesses in Mozambique (EuroCam) advocates increasing the publicizing of the country’s potential on the international stage, in light of the violent demonstrations that have recently taken place in some parts of the country.
Eurocam president Simone Santi believes this will ensure the continued attraction of new investments for large projects, and will mitigate concerns raised by the demonstrations, especially regarding employability.
Speaking this Monday in Maputo, on the sidelines of the organization’s general assembly, Santi said that the process of assessing the impacts of the violent demonstrations on the business sector is currently ongoing.
Mozambique currently has around 260 European companies operating across its different provinces.
