Mozambique: Delay in approving Mondlane's party result of "many processes" with similar requests

The European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) welcomed, yesterday morning, the Swedish Ambassador in Mozambique, Andrés Jato.
Received by the Mission Force Commander, Commodore César Correia, the Swedish Ambassador get the opportunity to know more about the European Union mission context, objectives and the work it has been developing in the last months with the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces (FADM).
This visit reinforces the partnership and cooperation between the Swedish authorities and the EUMAM MOZ, which share common values, goals and commitments.
EUMAM MOZ is a non-executive mission, with a mandate until June 2026, focusing on the operational cycle and maintenance, while also carrying out specialised training to enable the FADM to be self-sufficient in the fight against insurgency. The mission is currently commanded by Commodore César Correia, since the 10th of September, from the Portuguese Navy, and has 83 military personnel from 11 nationalities.
