A Mentoring and Training Team (MTT) from the French Armed Forces in the Southern Indian Ocean Zone (FAZSOI) is taking part in the European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) where they will provide a program to the Mozambican Defense Armed Forces (FADM).
The FAZSOI MTT will be responsible for giving a training program in Logistic Maintenance on vehicles previously donated to the FADM. The program will be held from 16th of June to 04th of July at the Military Driving School of Maputo and 30 FADM military personnel will attend this program.
Integrated into the Maintenance Training Program of the Advisory Group, the objective is to enhance the capabilities of the FADM in the domain of Logistic Maintenance.
EUMAM MOZ is a non-executive mission with a mandate until June 2026. It focuses on the operational training cycle and maintenance, while also providing specialised training to the FADM. This European Union mission includes military personnel from 11 nationalities.
