Mozambique: Minister Saize appeals for 'unity, vigilance'

The former deputy speaker of the Municipal Assembly of Quelimane until the municipal elections of 2014 Elsa Lampeão died of an illness in Nampula on Saturday.
According to Diário da Zambézia, Elsa had been suffering from pains and had undergone surgery several times. On this occasion, her health failed to recover.
Elsa Lampeão was vice-president of the Quelimane Municipal Assembly and internal candidate of the Frelimo party for the municipal elections of 2014, the only woman in a list of four.
She was always active politically, and was a member of the Mozambican Women’s Organization.
