Mozambique: Quelimane invests $150,000 in youth-led climate action projects
Mozambique on Friday recorded an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale, its epicentre located in Mopeia district, about 140 kilometers west of Quelimane in the north of the country.
According to the United States Geological Information Institute, the earthquake occurred at 6:43 pm local time, 10 kilometers below the surface.
The city of Quelimane lies about 1,500 kilometers north of Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. No casualties have so far been reported.
