The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi arrived this Wednesday, March 23 in Jordan. There, he will exchange views with Paul Kagame the Rwandan President, Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique, as well as the Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa on economy, trade and security, in one of the sessions of the Aqaba Process Meeting on East Africa, devoted to the fight against international terrorism which no longer spares the African continent.
The .city of Aqaba, a port city on the Red Sea’s Gulf of Aqaba and one of the country’s seaside resorts, is hosting the high-level meeting from 23 to 24 March.
The Aqaba Process initiative. launched by His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan in 2015,, aims to enhance security and military coordination and cooperation, as well as the exchange of expertise and information, among various regional and international stakeholders, to counter terrorism within a holistic approach.
