Daniel Chapo is the new governor of Inhambane, Mozambique

President Filipe Nyusi has just appointed Daniel Francisco Chapo for the post of governor of Inhambane, replacing Agostinho Trinta.
Trinta was dismissed due to incompatibilities arising from the role of Secretary for the Frelimo party, a post to which he was recently elected.
Daniel Chapo is a lawyer. He worked in TV Miramar and was served as government’s administrator of the Nacala-a-Velha distric, in Nampula province, In November 2015, he was transferred to perform the functions of Administrator in the district of Palma, in Cabo Delgado northern province.
