The Police of the Republic of Mozambique in Nampula presented at its facilities on Monday a group of about 50 children rounded up while engaging in commercial activity on the streets of the city.
The PRM has intensified the removing of children from the streets as part of a measures to avoid the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.
Nampula police spokesman Zacarias Nacute said that now was not the time to let children flood the streets, and urged parents and guardians to be vigilant and not allow their children out.
