Mozambique: Fear of organ trafficking hinders a young man's dream of living without fear of the sun

The Ministry of Health from January to May reported 53 positive cases of Covid-19 among 273 Mozambican citizens repatriated from the Republic of South Africa.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Ministry of Health (MISAU), the most recently imported cases entered Mozambique through the Ressano Garcia border post in Maputo province on 28 May, the same day on which the screening samples were taken.
On June 1, 25 of the samples came back positive, on June 2, two more, and yesterday, June 3, one more positive result was received.
The returnees who tested positive will undergo isolation at home in Maputo province (10), in Maputo city (four), Gaza province (five), Inhambane province (16), Manica (four), Sofala (13) and Zambézia (one).
MISAU claims to have distributed N95 masks and alcohol gel to returnees. All travellers were transported to their provinces of origin in buses from the National Institute of Disaster Management (INGD) arranged for the purpose.
