A multisectoral team will this Friday start inspecting the country’s gyms to assess the degree compliance with Covid-19 health protocols.
Inspection of all gymnasiums in the country by the National Institute of Economic Activities (INAE), the Ministry of Health and the Secretariat of State for Sports, should be completed by August 21.
The Inspector of the State Secretariat of Sports, Sidónio Chavisse, said that the inspection would focus on biosafety measures.
Chico Manuel, from Sports Medicine at the Ministry of Health, said the inspection aims to verify compliance with the hygiene conditions imposed by the health authorities.
The inspector of the National Inspection of Economic Activities (INAE), Verónio Duvane, called on owners and managers of gyms to collaborate fully during the inspection period.
