In the context of the restructuring of public companies, the government on Tuesday approved the establishment of a Post Bank to modernize the payment of state pensions and promote the financial inclusion of the lower income section of the population, Notícias reports.
Along the same lines, Correios de Moçambique will introduce a daily express mail service and establish a partnership with Medimoc for the national distribution of medical supplies. Correios facilities will be modernized, enabling the company to utilise its postal service experience to also provide social services such as in the acquisition process of ID cards, criminal records and passports.
