The Zimbabwean capital hosted a conference yesterday to promote Beira’s logistics corridor. The event organized by Cornelder Moçambique, which manages the port of Beira, gathered just over two hundred participants from both countries.
The objective of the meeting was to publicise the Port of Beira’s potential in the handling of general and containerized cargo and persuade companies to use the port to handle their cargo to and from hinterland countries.
The administrative head of Cornelder Mozambique gave the conference a positive assessment. It was preceded by a golf tournament involving all of Cornelder’s partners, with the Zimbabweans coming out substantially on top.
