After the first edition of Cornelder CodeLabs was held in the cities of Beira and Maputo in September 2023, nine young programmers were selected from among those who stood out the most in the competition.
These young programmers took part in a second phase of the initiative, where they were challenged to develop an application to manage registrations for Légua da Beira [ Beira City Run], in 10 days.
“Légua App” was presented last week by the young programmers to CdM’s management and the Sofala Provincial Athletics Association, where its many advantages were explored and points for improvement discussed.
As well as making the registration process more flexible and faster, the app also aims to provide greater security for the data and registrations of Légua da Beira participants.
