Concerned about crime and misconduct in communities, the Governor of Cabo Delgado province, Valige Tauabo, has advocated the creation of incentives for community policing agents.
“Giving greater prestige and credibility to community policing will motivate its agents to avoid frustration and misconduct in the fulfilment of their missions, with a view to, above all, identifying the evils that threaten peace within the family and in communities,” Tauabo told the Northern Regional Conference on Community Policing.
