The Christian Council of Mozambique (CCM) is in favour of internal mediation to resolve the military and political crisis in the country.
According to Radio Mozambique, the bishop of the Anglican church of Mozambique, Carlos Matsinhe, says that Mozambicans have proved their capacity to resolve internal problems.
Speaking in Maputo on Thursday at a press conference to express the position of the Christian Council of Mozambique on the current socio-political situation in the country, Matsinhe said: “The solution is to have mediators, but internal mediators, because we believe in Mozambique’s ability to solve its own problems.”
