China wants to strengthen cooperation with Mozambique in agriculture and public works

China intends to strengthen cooperation with Mozambique in the agriculture and public works sectors, according to Chinese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Zhang Ming.
He was speaking after a meeting with President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique.
“I informed President Nyusi about the level of implementation of the consensus reached during his visit to China,” the Mozambique Information Agency quotes the deputy minister as saying.
Zhang Ming was on a working visit to Mozambique and said that “there is a brotherhood” between the two countries “and this was reaffirmed at the meeting”.
China is one of the largest investors in Mozambique, and the deep relations between the two countries date back to the independence struggle.
