Solenta Aviation says delay in issuing license for domestic flights in Mozambique "is not normal"
Brewer Cervejas de Moçambique (CDM) has invested US$2 million in the construction of a non-alcoholic beverage production plant which, in addition to generating 60 jobs, will buy raw materials from local producers.
The new product is based on a traditional Mozambican beverage ‘Maheu’ made from corn flour and sugar, but without the original’s alcohol content.
“’Super Maheu’ will benefit several thousand corn farmers and their families, expanding the inputs that the CDM already sources locally,” the general director of the company explained, adding that “this new product will generate tax revenue for the state, in addition to the revenues that CDM currently generates for the fiscal system.”
