Carlos Maela: Inhambane Frelimo First Secretary dies in India

Carlos Maela, member of Frelimo’s Central Committee and First Secretary of the Provincial Committee in Inhambane, died yesterday in New Delhi, India, from an illness.
A statement from the Frelimo Political Commission received yesterday by Noticias adds that Maela, who also served as Provincial Inspector of Education, died at the Hyderabad Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, where he was being treated .
