Mozambique: Licungo University delivers computers under 'One Student, One Laptop' program
Nine Community of Sant’Egidio activists providing humanitarian assistance to victims of the terrorist attacks in Cabo Delgado province have been killed in the last six months.
The victims were among the approximately 300 volunteers involved in the religious organisation’s School of Peace project.
Delivering this information on Tuesday, Mozambique representative of the Community of Sant’Egídio, Chiara Turrini, described the situation in Cabo Delgado as dramatic.
Chiara Turrini said that, despite the death of the activists, the organisation remained committed to assisting those affected by armed violence.
