Just In: Nini Satar dies in Mozambican maximum security prison B.O.

Three people were killed and two others injured in two attacks in the Nguri and Olumbe regions of Muidumbe and Palma districts respectively last Monday, ‘Carta de Moçambique’ reports.
The three fatalities occurred in Nguri, Muidumbe district and, according to sources, involved people returning from their vegetable gardens [‘machambas’] who were ambushed by the attackers.
The same sources told Carta de Moçambique that one member of the group managed to escape and reported the attack in Miangalewa village.
Carta de Moçambique also learned that two people sustained gunshot wounds in the Olumbe region of Palma district, with one reported still missing.
The two attacks took place last Monday and are attributed to the insurgents menacing Cabo Delgado province since October 2017.
Attacks in the northern province of the country have already cost about three hundred lives, including civilians, military and members of the insurgent groups, in addition to extensive destruction of public and private property.
