PRM says there are leads
The Republic of Mozambique Police (PRM) has said today that it has leads on the case, but does not know when will it be clarified.
“As a result of the preliminary work done so far we have leads but can not share any at this moment, at the risk of jeopardising the investigative work,” said Elsídia Filipe, PRM’s head of Public Relations for Manica province.
Elsidia said the police are working to resolve it as soon as possible.
The PRM spokesperson added that this is the first abduction case this year in the province of Manica.
“As, for the case that occurred yesterday, let me say that this is an isolated case,” she said.
