The Mozambique-India Business and Investment Forum, held this Monday with the aim of promoting investment opportunities, served to consolidate business partnerships between the two countries.
The forum brought together Mozambican and Indian businesspeople from different sectors, with a highlight on the production of intermediate dyes, cosmetics and personal care products, special chemicals and essential oils, and provided an opportunity to participate in business-to-business (B2B) sessions, establish joint ventures and exhibit companies’ brands and products.
Chairman of the Mozambican Business Confederation Agostinho Vuma said that the search for partnerships is an imperative for national companies, and the only way for Mozambique to secure the investment needed to avoid the collapse of Mozambican companies, while at the same time working to diversify the economy and take advantage of the various opportunities that the country offers.
