The prepaid electricity sale system CREDELEC is out of service, this Tuesday, due to failures occurring in the central computer system of Electricity of Mozambique (EDM).
According to an EDM press release sent to Folha de Maputo, the CREDELEC system is unavailable due to the failure of one of its servers, a situation which is currently preventing consumers from buying prepaid electricity.
“Because of the inconveniences this situation is causing, EDM calls on due collaboration and a rational use of electricity, reducing consumption, especially at peak hours, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,” EDM advises.
