Cabo Delgado: Operators say road transport at 25% of previous levels
In the context of the Independent International Audit to Proindicus SA, EMATUM-Empresa Moçambicana de Atum SA, and MAM-Mozambique Asset Management SA, carried out by Kroll Associates UK, the Attorney General’s Office, in cooperation with Sweden, as the funder, and the International Monetary Fund-IMF, has agreed to extend the audit period by one more month.
The statement sent to O País also reads that the procedures for collecting the information, from banks, supplier companies and other relevant institutions, as well as their due treatment, which were underway at home and abroad, were complex and involved mechanisms of international cooperation, with the assistance of the Attorney General’s Office.

Such complexity entailed, among other measures, the adoption of certain legal procedures, consistent with the inherent specificities of each of the different jurisdictions involved, which resulted in the late availability of relevant additional information, thus compromising the agreed deadline (the end of March).
