Mozambique: 12 Gorongosa district jail escapees re-captured – police

Beira based Anti-kidnapping Movement has announced on its Facebook page that Turkish businessman Husseyin Sozen, kidnapped in central Maputo more than four months ago, on February 7, was released from captivity on Thursday (June 9), without further details.
“Huseyin Sozen entrepreneur of Turkish origin, back to family life….. He was in captivity from 07.02.2022 to 09.06.2022,” reads the post by Anti-Raptos Beira.
