Breaking: Constitutional Council rejects presidencial candidacies of Alice Mabote, Helder Mendonça and Eugénio Estevão – Mozambique

The Constitutional Council (CC) has rejected the candidacies to President of the Republic of Eugénio Estêvão, Hélder Mendonça and Alice Mabota, ‘O País’ reports.
These candidacies did not fulfil the legal requirements, adds the same source.
The CC has accepted Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, Ossufo Momade, Daviz Simango and Mário Albino as candidates for the post of President of the Republic.
