Armed men suspected of belonging to Renamo attacked the village headquarters of Morrumbala in Zambezia province early on Friday.
According to television channel STV, the attack happened at around 4:00 a.m., when the men invaded the village and began looting goods, including medicines from the health post.
It is not known if there were any fatalities during the attack, and the district government is currently assessing the damage.
