Zimbabwe: Robert Mugabe's son appears in court on drug charge
Gaborone, 9th June 2021: The Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation wishes to inform that His Excellency Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi, President of the Republic of Botswana, will undertake a Working Visit to Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania (URT), on 10th June 2021.
His Excellency the President will meet with his counterpart, Her Excellency Mrs. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, to among others discuss ways of broadening the scope of bilateral cooperation between their two countries. The Heads of State will also deliberate on the political and security situation in the SADC Region.
Tanzania is an important ally and strategic partner to Botswana. The two countries enjoy decades of cordial bilateral relations and have over the years cooperated in a number of areas including finance, works and transport, training and human resource development.
His Excellency the President, will be accompanied by Honourable Dr. Lemogang Kwape, Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation, and Senior Government Officials.
The President and his delegation will return to Gaborone on 11th June 2021.
