Mozambqiue: Criminal case opened against eight involved in gold theft - AIM report
A Bangladeshi man called Hefaz Ahemed was electrocuted on Thursday morning at his home in Xai-Xai city, Gaza province, last Thursday.
Criminal Investigation Police (PIC) and Health sector officials investigating the incident say “the circumstances under which the victim was electrocuted are not yet perfectly understood”.
In a statement sent to @Verdade, Jeremias Langa, spokesman for the Republic of Mozambique Police (PRM) in Gaza, said that it had been established that the citizen died “during bad weather, accompanied by thunderstorms and relatively strong winds”.
The house where the man died was rented, and he had lived there for more than two years. He was a businessman in the city.
