Brazil-Mozambique Cultural Centre opens 'Elas Aqui e Agora' in Maputo

On June 28, Cornelder de Moçambique held the award ceremony for the 4th Edition of the Writing and Handicraft Contest, under the theme “Children Respecting Differences.”
The initiative was dedicated to the children of CdM employees and to children from the Institute for the Visually Impaired, Lar Siloé, and ADESMO, aged between 7 and 12.
The contest received 97 entries, promoting empathy, artistic expression, and a love of reading.
The 60 best works were published in a children’s book launched on the same day.
Winners received laptops, tablets, books, backpacks, and braille books.
On the occasion, CdM’s Commercial Director, Letícia Ferreira, highlighted that the theme was chosen as a way to fight bullying and celebrate what makes each person unique.
