Isac Chande, Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs, was in Parliament this Monday to be heard on the proposal of a Law that Defines the Organization of Tax Courts and on the proposal of Law that defines the Organization of Customs Courts .
The holder of the portfolio of Justice says that the vowels that were allocated to the Tax Courts will have, within the scope of the law under discussion, the possibility to continue in this position or to return to the Tax Authority, from where they were taken.
However, the Committee on Human Rights, Constitutional Affairs and Legality must respect the right to choose a job provided for in the Constitution.
Isac Chande says that a consensual departure on the subject is still going to be studied.
Yesterday, the First Committee of Parliament had been analyzing the proposal for a specific revision of the Constitution of the Republic. Edson Macuácua says it is premature to advance any opinion on the matter, having promised some pronouncement this Tuesday.
