Mozambique: Ship dropped anchor off Xai-Xai beach due to bad weather, now on its way to Malta

A businessman was robbed of more than 200,000 meticais (almost US3,000) this morning outside the main BCI bank in Quelimane.
According to the victim everything happened in a fraction of a second, when three individuals wielding a pistol and an automatic rifle attacked him, seized the suitcase containing the money and fled. The victim was on the way into the bank to deposit the money.
The newspaper Txopela report is on the scene along with the police, but so far there is no record of casualties.
Zambézia police spokesman Miguel Caetano has promised to speak to Txopela in a few moments.
