Armed men attack Quifuque Island in Palma – Carta

A group of armed men dressed in Defense and Security Forces (FDS) uniform and believed to be terrorists on Saturday attacked Quifuque Island in the district of Palma, Cabo Delgado.
According to sources, the attack resulted in the deaths of three people and the abduction of an unknown number of local residents.
Attacks on villages in Muidumbe district continue to reverberate, with survivors reporting dramatic episodes during the 21-day occupation of that part of Cabo Delgado.
