Angola’s parliament passed a 6.4 trillion kwanza ($48 billion) 2016 budget on Friday based on an average oil price of $45 a barrel and daily production of 1.8 million barrels, state news agency ANGOP reported.
Africa’s second biggest oil exporter’s spending plan assumes economic growth of 3.3 percent, a budget deficit of 5.5 percent and inflation of 11-13 percent, ANGOP said.
The budget approved by lawmakers was in-line with spending plans announced by Angola’s finance ministry last month.
