Angolan airline TAAG has launched a new website to facilitate services such as managing reservations, buying tickets, online check-in and price research, among others, the company said on Monday.
A statement distributed to the press said that the initiative aimed to add more value to the service provided to the general public and meet the continuous commitment to improve services for customers and passengers.
The platform, available in four languages, Portuguese, English, French and Spanish, “has a more intuitive navigation and easy access to key features,” the document stresses.
“TAAG, in light of the best commercial practices in the sector, thus reinforces its focus on digitalisation, positioning the new website as the preferred platform for customers and passengers to request services, with several benefits such as greater autonomy, 24H ‘self-service’ service, agility and security,” the statement said.
According to the statement, the company’s new website has been fully optimised, is visually more appealing, faster in processing instructions, more interactive and adapted for mobile navigation.
The company promises to incorporate, by the end of this month, new features on the website, with emphasis on the ‘plusgrade’ (auctions), “modality that, under the terms and conditions applicable, will allow passengers with confirmed/acquired tickets to request upgrade, i.e. the opportunity to make an offer to be placed in a higher class than that for which their original ticket was purchased”.
“TAAG thus remains deeply engaged with the excellence, quality and convenience of the service provided to the customer, framing the new website as another step in its modernisation and digitalisation process,” the statement read.
