The president also sacked the Luanda governor, Graciano Francisco Domingos, and Francisco Higino Lopes Carneiro from governor of southeastern Cuando Cubango province.
José Eduardo dos Santos appointed Pedro Mutinde to the post of Cuando Cubango governor, and Francisco Higino Lopes Carneiro to govern the Angolan capital, Luanda.
On the other hand, the head of State appointed the secretary of State for Hotels, Paulino Domingos Baptista, to temporarily run the affairs of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, until a minister is definitely nominated for the post.
