Angolan head of State João Lourenço Monday fired the Commissioner-General Ambrósio de Lemos from the post of Commander General of National Police.
This is according to a note released by the Civil Affairs Office of the President of Republic, reached Angop Monday.
To the position of Commander General of National Police, João Lourenço appointed the Commissioner-General Alfredo Mingas to take over.
In another Decree, the President sacked General António José Maria, from the position of chief of the Intelligence and Military Security Service.
In order to fill the vacancy, the head of State appointed General Apolinário José Pereira.
