Angola and Mozambique signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing business networks, with highlight to exploitation of oil, natural gas, logistics and agribusiness.
Signed in Maputo (Mozambique), the memorandum of understanding is meant to consolidate the cooperation between the two countries, reads the press note from the Angola Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA) that reached Angop on Tuesday.
The deal will also promote and intensify the establishment of strong relations, through the exchanges in technical-professional, economic and training areas.
The document was signed by the deputy president of the Angola Industrial Association (AIA), Eliseu Gaspar, and the head of the Mozambique Association of Economic Confederations (CTA), Rogério Manuel.
The CCIA says that the implementation of the memorandum is annual. Angola and Mozambique have economic and commercial relations at the level of the Southern African Development Countries (SADC) that groups 14 countries of the region.
The Angolan delegation to Maputo (Mozambique) was comprised of members of CCIA, Fiscal Association, AIA, Commercial Agricultural and Industrial Association of Huila (AAPCIL) and Angola Entrepreneurial Association Council.
